DeepCardio's research and development to predict the risk of all cardiac diseases using only an ECG test is ongoing.
Currently, 3 products are commercially available and 8 products have completed development and are undergoing pilot testing.
SmartECG-EF
SmartECG-EF is an AI ECG solution that predicts the likelihood of heart failure where the left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) falls at or below 40%, based on an ECG test.
Standard ECG Test (10 Seconds)
Since it uses the same ECG procedure already in practice, introducing SmartECG adds no additional workload.
SmartECG AI Analysis
After a standard 10-second ECG test, the SmartECG analysis engine processes the generated data to analyze electrical signal patterns associated with ventricular dysfunction.
EF ≤ 40% Probability Result
The analysis result presents the probability that the left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) is at or below 40%.
The existing workflow is preserved, meaning there is no additional burden from adding an AI-powered analysis.
SmartECG-EF Analysis
SmartECG-EF analyzes signal characteristics in ECG waveforms using an AI model.
Trained on large volumes of ECG and echocardiography data, the model can identify the likelihood of reduced left ventricular function — specifically, an EF value at or below 40% — from an ECG result alone.
EF Estimation from ECG Alone
Analyzes ventricular dysfunction using ECG data alone, with no additional data required
Clinical Utility
Enables risk assessment for heart failure (low EF) prior to echocardiography
Rapid Result Analysis
Results indicating the likelihood of an EF at or below 40 are delivered immediately upon completion of the ECG test
SmartECG Integrated Analysis Results
SmartECG delivers multiple analysis results from a single ECG test, all consolidated in one screen.
Upcoming Analyses to Be Integrated:
sigCAD · ACS · HFmrEF · HCMP · Fabry and more
Products currently under regulatory approval will be integrated into the service sequentially upon completion of required approvals.
AF Risk Analysis Results
Indicator for likelihood of atrial fibrillation
CV Risk Cardiac Age-Based Analysis Results
Cardiac age-based cardiovascular risk indicator
EF-Related Analysis Results
Left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) indicator
Clinical Value
Conventional Heart Failure Assessment
- EF status is difficult to assess before echocardiography (Echo)
- Potential for delayed diagnosis in early-stage heart failure
- Limited ability to assess heart failure in facilities without ultrasound equipment
- Treatment intervention often occurs only after symptoms worsen
With SmartECG-EF
- Enables pre-assessment of the likelihood of reduced EF
based on ECG - Enables early identification of high-risk heart failure patients
- Provides a reference indicator to support decisions on referral to higher-level medical facilities
- Enables early treatment and management strategies
Value of Early Heart Failure Risk Screening
SmartECG-EF provides an assessment of the likelihood that left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) is below 40% from a standard ECG test alone, enabling early recognition of high-risk heart failure patients.
This can support clinical decision-making regarding echocardiography, referral to higher-level facilities, and early treatment initiation.
